Britons abroad are more likely to be arrested in the UAE than anywhere else in the world, and the British ambassador says many of them get into trouble “for breaking a law they did not know existed”.

a little bit of common sense can go a long way though

Indeed - if these countries would remove ridiculous laws that forbid eating in public just because some people are fasting, kissing your other half and consensual adults living tother there would be more common sense in the world
