I can remember back in the late-1980s when there were no Septics at all in the Top Ten - it was post-Watson, post-Nicklaus, post-Trevino, but pre-Woods, pre-Mickelson, pre-Furyk............. there were a few (Curtis Strange, Tom Kite, etc) but they weren't consistently highly-ranked.

Then they are Scottish / N.Irish or Welsh.
