Hi all

Does anyone know of any dog walking parks, beaches, areas preferably within AD or Dubai that are fenced off. Also any dog friendly cafes/restaurants (obviously will sit outside)

I have no information to help you out but am curious about the impact of the hot weather on dogs . It's - 1 Fahrenheit here ( -18 Celsius0. Our dog still wants to go out when he needs to pee.

I haven't had my dog during the summer months but as long as they stay in doors through the day with AC on and just pop out for their business I'm sure it will be fine. Will be taking for walks early morning and later at night when and if it cools a little.

There are no dog specific parks etc. because it is against the law (in Dubai) to let your dog off the leash. However that does not stop many people going to various beaches and letting their beasts roam free.

I have a puppy - got him last July. At the time I was living in the marina and so would take him for a walk along the marina walk. Now I'm in JLT and I take him along the JLT walk....loads of dog owners walk their dog along there and so as long as you pick up their poo and dispose of it, no one says anything.
I been told you can take your dog to Safa Park, but I haven't yet taken Max there.

Thanks for your feedback, I'm based in AD but don't mind coming through to Dubai, we take Giuseppe to my second home for doggy day quite often so could incorporate the walks too

My mate takes his poodles to some beach near / at Ghantoot I think...

There;s a tiny dog park in the helicopter park by 15th and karama. It runs against the wall.
