Blimey - and now Alan Rickman.
He's a gonner at 69, with cancer.
Loved his voice. Great actor.

Hope Billy Idol keeps on going for awhile.
Missed seeing him in concert last Summer at Chicago's Riot Fest. Riot Fest was a 3 day Music celebration ; I went to 2 of the days but was too tired to make the 200 mile trip for the day Billy Idol was performing. Grew up listening to him.

Totally unrelated but I lost a very dear and close senior of mine who was a mentor and helped me get into the IT field
His sons are good friends of mine and I can feel their pain in my gut tonight
I hate death because it takes from me but I hate time even more because it makes me heal, makes me forget

Rickman was great in Love Actually - I think he played himself.
