My sis and her husband hit a deer once , going 65mph on the freeway . Car was Mazda 929 , it was night and incident was either in Illinois or Wisconsin. Car was totalled and both were rushed to hospital by Ambulance. Ended up being ok.

yes it costs you more to hit a camel, then a tree, then a human being.

I remember doing a visa run years ago and seeing a camel that had been headlamped wrapped around the central reservation, not a pretty sight - god only knows what happened to the car that hit it.

had a friend who about 7 years ago hit a palm tree on the hatta road, amazingly it turned out to be someones most profitable and productive date palm, cost the insurance company several hundred thousand aed in compensation. funny that.
