Beautifying the sin
J B, from China, was arrested with her friend J W, also from China, after police raided the Christmas party at a villa. On Monday, J B told the Criminal Court that J W had invited her to the party because he knew she was grieving. “So he invited me to cheer me up,” she said.
Police claimed the couple were beautifying the sin – a charge relating to romantic but non-sexual liaisons between two people who are not married or engaged to be married – when arrested.

And what was 'indecent' about this party?
Heaven only know what 'beautifying a sin' is.
There some seriously weird people here who are obsessed with the private behaviour of others.

"“What about you why did you go to the party? Your husband died too?” Chief Justice Sayed Abdul Baseer asked J W.
“No I was just accompanying her, she’s my friend,” he replied."
Always touches the heart to see people have empathy and sensitivity towards others

On a more positive note, I read somewhere that China has the fastest growing Christian religious community in the world. In a few years they will be ahead of Brazil and closing in on the USA as the largest Christian believing country in the world. Raiding a Christmas party is only going to help the Christian cause.

Although if you were unlucky enough to be married to a man like that you'd probably want to celebrate seeing the back of him.
