Anyone got a spare room?
Looks like I'm leaving Abu Dhabi, so want a temporary (6 month) place to stay in Dubai.

Monthly rates in serviced hotels start at 10K and are mostly around 13-15k for the month for anything decent in the south end of town.
Maybe in Al Nahda you might find something just under the 10k mark.
Flat shares are usually around 4-7k depending on the quality of room and location. 5k seems to be the average in the south end of town.
As for it being illegal, shrugs. Half the Marina is in flatshares. As long as it's not mixed gender and in a free hold area, it's not illegal.
