Albums !
Haven't heard MeatLoaf's "Bat Out of He'll" album for years until it randomly came on my iPod the other night, I played it to death in my early teens and 34 years on, I found that I could still sing along to every word....and did !
What an unbelievable album !
Not many albums I could say that about......any albums that you could sing along to from start to finish even though you haven't heard them in years ?

Penthouse and Pavement, Heaven 17. Bought it recently after a 30 year gap on the market, amazing.

Er - and I blame this on my dad entirely for playing these constantly on loop in the car for about 15 years - Queen (Greatest Hits II) and [cough] Steeleye Span (Original Masters).

Re: Albums !
A bit of a mix but here are a few. Forgive the first - me, Mrs hnd sang in the choir at school!
Hallelujah Chorus:

The Doors: Waiting for the Sun
Love Street: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Z6s2Ln58Xw
Texas Greatest Hits: I Don't Want a Lover
http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xr3...-a-lover_music
Fleetwood Mac, Rumours:
Go Your Own Way: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0GN2kpBoFs4
Jeff Wayne's War of the Worlds with Richard Burton's narration:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lqvwxvCOSH4
Funnily enough, we brought with us to Dubai about a yard of vinyl LPs (ranging from classical, through 70's rock and ballads etc) but no record player. A recently visiting friend thoughtfully brought with him a "thingy" which we can plug into our Mac and play the vinyl and record onto the hard drive (or whatever - that's for Mr hnd to play with during the summer months). Our friend has done this with all his vinyl and thought we might like to do the same with ours - what a lovely friend. Once we're done with it he suggested we might like to pass it on to others - so ... anybody interested?

Reminds me of a classic line from "I'm Alan Partridge"
Alan and the young lad working in the motel discover a common liking for The Beatles, and Alan gets asked the question - so what do you think is their best album...
"Errmmm - Greatest Hits? "
