Abu Dhabi Brunch
Evening campers,
Mother Scamp is visiting and we're taking her to stay at the Viceroy for the weekend. We've done the brunch there before and was alright.
Can anyone recommend any nice brunches?
Preferably somewhere quite nice, minimal brass, you know - the usual requirements for a brunch for a parent.
Thanks in advance.

If your staying on Yas, the one at the Westin is very good and only a 10mins taxi ride on the way back.

Oh chubby scampy, after the brunch walk over (like 100m) to Torquise bar. My fav bar in Abu Dhabi, just no hookers, hot russians or ladies nights.

Has your mother ever been to the East Coast (Fujeriah, Dibba?).
Quite different vibe over there. Le Meridien is nice enough. We stopped at Sandy Beach this past weekend and I noticed they were offering 150 AED day passes that included a lunch buffet (but probably dreadful). However, a pint is only 25 AED.
IT's only 2 hours drive to/from Sandy Beach or Le Meridien.

Anantara Hotel at the Eastern Mangroves. We had a big family brunch up there and the food was genuinely outstanding. Good service and decent drinks with no Chavs anywhere. Music was at a level that promoted rather than restricted conversation.

Still, Sandy Beach is one of the best weekends I've had out here. Serious fun.

Boa at the Anantara is also on the AD entertainer, soft drinks package though.
