Totally wrong to ask the model to do this, but why didn't he just say no?

Or (call me cynical) is it because he can now go after the company with a massive lawsuit?

To be fair, I've been on some shoots where you can see the model is not entirely comfortable in something (not quite the same as wanking on camera) but its amazing what people will do when they are surrounded by people saying its ok and normal and that they are being difficult etc. It takes an experienced model to say outright no to something If it was his first shoot he may have thought this was ok (dur) and just bowed to pressure- only afterwards he's realised its not quite normal. Personally if a model isnt comfortable in something or doing something i would try to be sympathetic to them if it was a particularly big ask- however models will always try and squirming out of something they don't like but at the end of the day its their job. However if they look that uncomfortable then the shots will look crap anyway. I recall a rather funny story with a model dressed in a latex catsuit having a mini breakdown on me whilst I buffed her up with silicon spray- after seeing the shots she loved them but at the time she hated every moment and was saying I dont want to do this. We all ignored her as she was beinga complete drama queen.

anyway Im not saying this was right and obviously the poor lad got had as do many many many models so id say get over it and get used to the fashion industry darling. Lots of unscrupulous people willing to take advantage.

Not in the UK it's not.

The secondary school my mrs taught at was quite nice, middle class sort of place. Non-Uniform day was a competition of who could wear more A+F.
