Squaring The Circle of Brezit
This comment from a reader of the FT has gone viral because it nails the remainer/leaver Brexit row | The Poke
This sums up the demands made of the State by those who take the Daily Mail line !
Such are the perils of the plebiscite !

I think you are greatly overestimating the circulation of the Daily Mail.

Yeah, just about sums it up. I'm going on the Unite for Europe march on March 25th.

I'm sure you are aware that readership and circulation are not the same thing and that on line access is different again.
The "Daily Mail line" is obviously describing the Mail's reach (including those reading on line and spreading the word on forums and blogs), not just how many people froth on sight of the headline in the paper version.

And how many read the political articles?
I frequently see links to DM articles on other media web sites, and they are invariably TV or film related articles, or tabloid topics - fluffy bunnies and assaulted OAPs, though not usually in the same article!

Reading's not really required, the headlines do enough.
Who needs to read an article to see that judges are the enemy of the people and one of them is, gasp, gay.
I think that depends on the website.
You can bet that the majority of Mail links on BE, while they may not appear 'party' political, they will most certainly be things like railway workers holding the country to ransom, workers sleeping on the job, others falsely claiming overtime pay (seldom anything about the claims for reinforcing the moat or house flipping) reds under the bed, immigrants responsible for soaring crime (that isn't soaring), labour councils responsible for soaring crime (that isn't soaring), scroungers defended by lefties, the "not really disabled", and on and so forth.

You stick to the fluffy bunnies and OAPs. Time for your cocoa now.
