Re: Should I Sue ?
They didn't bother to teach me grammar or ensure my maths was up to scratch at my Primary School - that meant I couldn't get into Oxford Uni to sue them when I didn't get a first. This is an outrage!!

'only in America' - of course Scot47, whenever or whatever it is, personally I would sue anyone or everyone for anything on the basis the legal team do it on a contingency basis.
Think of the possible sucess rate 1:1000 & maybe 50k later. Nothing ventured- nothing gained
Guy I had worked with, his wife in 2014 was walking down the street in Toronto & tripped over a raised flag stone that had recently been re-set by the local utility company.
She brusied her knee, swollen ankle & says that since she was dressed in a frock, that as a result of the fall her dignity was lost (sprawled out legs wide open on the fall).
She sued, won & pocketed $10k net, paid zero for the legals covered by the other side
The utility company defence was that there was a marker stating 'caution watch your step'
This woman looks for these kind of opportunites that in her last job she got fired for for incompetence, she recorded the firing in leading the other person that was firing her into saying stuff that was inappropriate. Used it against the company in legal wrongful dismissal, she won big on that one
Go figure, this is a money grab.... the lawyers win every which way

What is meant by limitation periods under UK law and when will this come into play? - InBrief.co.uk
"What is the limitation period for various kinds of claim?
The various limitation periods for different kinds of claim are prescribed in the Limitation Act 1980. They are as follows:
•Claim in relation to a contract – limitation period of 6 years
•Claims in relation to awards in arbitration – limitation period of 6 years
•Claims in relation to debt arising under statute – limitation period of 6 years
•Claims in relation to personal injury – limitation period of 3 years
•Claims in relation to negligence – limitation period of 6 years
•Claims in relation to recovery of land – limitation period of 12 years
•Claims in relation to breach of trust – limitation period of 6 years
•Claims in relation to tort – limitation period of 6 years
•Claims in relation to defamation and malicious falsehood – limitation period of 1 year
The above list is not a complete list of the limitation periods under the Limitations Act 1980. If you wish to understand the full list of limitation periods or want to know the period for a specific claim you should seek legal advice as it may be provided for in the Limitations Act or alternatively a specialist piece of legislation.
