That's what I like, proper batter along with extra batter bits We were lucky enough to find a nice chippy when we moved to Scarborough without much trial and error.

A very large Grand Marnier straight up for me please and a packet of cheese and onion crisps.
Keep the GM coming...cheers. In fact just leave the bottle on the table.

Can't beat it, can you. Most chippies here do crumbed fish, the few that do batter aren't perfect, but this one, OÇonnors, is just dreamy!!!!! No other way to do fish - and of course, vinegar on the chips

OK I've sobered up so I'll have a Bacardi & coke please.
Not good mixing drinks, but hey I'll save myself a space under the table. A bag of scampi fries too please, haven't had those for years!

Wasn't it "the nook" where Ena Sharples and Minnie Caldwell used to hang out?

Is that Andrew's (the Scottish one) outside the Town Centre on Ellesmere Rd?

Thank goodness for a decent British pub at long last
Bottle of stout for him. Half a lager & lime for me . Packets of Walkers cheese and onion for me and pork scratchings for him.
Think we'll have the ploughmans lunch in a bit . Haven't got in sniffing distance of one of those in 8 years now.
Bottoms up
