I watched the first of the Varg Veum movies. It was pretty good, quite hard hitting.

There was no impression of an introduction to the character. Whether this was because there had been earlier versions or the books were so well known I have no idea.

But then I remember catching Luther by accident and assuming I had missed maybe a whole series already because it played as if much had been seen before his suspension.

The Game, No Offence, 1864 are all great shows. Also watched Braquo - French crime drama (farfetched at times) but kinda sorta liked it.

I've had the first episode of that downloaded since January.

2014.

Still not got around to it.

(although that's more to do with it being out of sight, out of mind, in a folder somewhere, rather than being too busy)

Sounds good.

What do people feel about 'Stonemouth' and 'Interceptor'? So far I am liking 'Stonemouth' best.

Just discovered Ricky Gervais' An Idiot Abroad on Hulu here in the US. Binged the first season last Sunday - hilarious

Idiot Abroad is fantastic and hilarious show! Did not like Stonemouth at all. Slow and boring as heck.. I just watched Season 3 of Rita and it was good. Just saw Salamander for 2nd time - brilliant. Tonight I shall seek another Scandanivian programme to watch..

This was on Iplayer yesterday as a premiere prior to TV broadcast. It's brilliant.

I actually liked Stonemouth but am finding Interceptor a bit predictable, at least so far.

Have only watched episode 1 of The Syndicate so far and an reserving judgment but will go on watching it.
