Driver and Bodyguard for old age

Driver and Bodyguard for old age
Just an idea 
I've seen in our condo grounds from time to time a Driver who clearly "works" for someone at the condo. Doing a google, looks like salaries are in the region of RM 2000 per month....maybe a little less.
Seems to me it would be a nice idea, if one is female and in later retirement, and the guy could maybe change a few lightbulbs too, mend the broken doorbell, lug a bit of heavy shopping, fight off the bag-snatchers in Georgetown, etc etc.
What d'you think?

Doesn't sound like a safe idea for a "feeble" old lady hehe learn from the imperial courts of emperors, they use eunuchs ;0) according to the dictionary "a man who has been castrated, especially (in the past) one employed to guard the women's living areas at an oriental court."

A reply to BB's "What d'you think?" as I don't think it's safe.
Some thing bad happened one day to a good friend's retired friend who lived by herself as she had a gardener handyman whom she thought she trusted the few years.

Yes. I think, certainly for an aging female, if one is alone in a landed property, the safety situation is maybe not quite as desirable as being in a condo unit with several layers of security. And this applies to any country in the world.
