Alternative to Malaysia
Just been watching a cycle race on TV.
It's The Tour of Dubai.
I've been to Dubai a couple of times many many years ago and of course its changed completly.
But it does look fabulous now.
Dunno how much the cost of living is compared to Malaysia or what living there would be like now but the views from the helicopter does look absolutely amazing.

Dubai doesn't have a retirement visa for foreigners.

But if you purchase a condo there you can get a residence permit.
Summers are however hot and humid (+45C & 90% relative humidity)
