Parent Living in Hong Kong pre-1997
Hi there, I'm trying to find out if my British father having lived in Hong Kong before it left the British empire in 1997 may make me eligible for British citizenship. I was born in South Africa in 1986 and he in Rhodesia in 1985 to two British parents (both born in the UK). Would anyone know if Hong Kong has any sway on citizenship?
