TV License in R.O.I.
Hi everyone
My husband and I have just purchased a lovely cottage in Cavan with the view to eventually taking semi-retirement and living there.
I am finding conflicting advice on the following: We currently do not own a T.V set but there is already an ariel up which was left by the previous occupants. We really only want a set to watch DVD's occasionally whilst we are there ( usually for about 4 weeks a year as we are still resident in U.K ). we would not be watching T.V.
Do we still need a T.V. license @160 euro?
Thank you very much-Jenny.

Thank you very much for your reply. I thought that was probably the case.
