They'll likely be a cut-off point for eligibility for residency but each country will likely apply their own rules. The whole situation is incredibly fluid however since no party has even established a negotiation position yet. Any changes won't affect British citizens in the RoI as this is covered separately by the Common Travel Area.
Thank you. I didn't find the ROI website as clear as the UK one. So I guess we will look at Ireland. Seems with UK unless wife gets work visa then converts to spousal visa at some point ( I gather she would qualify for a Tier 2 work visa if I understand correctly), I would to be working in UK six months before she could come over. Lots of paperwork again.
