Default info on moving to cork from uk

Hi everyone , my wife and I are thinking about a move to cork from sunny wolverhampton

My wife is a nurse and her nursing pin is currently in process of becoming a Irish pin from a UK pin and with various job offers I have no dought in her finding a job in a hospital

I myself am a self employed bricklayer and have a few questions regarding this if anyone is able to help me answer a few qeustions, here we go

1.what's employment for brickies like in Cork?
2.what are the wages like in terms of day rates and price work?
3.I understand that a safe pass card needs to be obtained for site work if so how do I go about getting a card or will my UK cscs card be sufficient?

Now in terms of housing I've seen property's like 3 bed detached houses for €550pm which to me seems really cheap compared to UK housing is this about right for a 3 bed?

What are the rates like for gas , electricity etc

If anyone has any info and could help me that would be great

Thanks in advance
