Hi, can any on tell me if there are any ferrys from Ireland to Portugal? I have googled and the only thing I could find was a proposal in 2008 for a ferry service from Cork to Spain, did this go any further? I would appreciate all
comments and best routes that anyone can give me.

There's just not enough demand to go to Portugal by ferry. You can only go to France direct, or go to UK and take the ferry to Bilbao or Santander.

I believe it was proposed to do a service between Ireland and Spain, but never happened. Who knows, maybe we might see it happen and it's still not too far to Portugal.

Yes maybe when the economy gets better they might resume the possibility of a ferry from Ireland, we can but hope lol
