My point is that rather than hijack an existing thread on a completely unrelated subject, it is better to start a new thread.

There is also the matter of courtesy to those who are trying to help you. Calling a poster "Mr Knowall" when he gives you accurate and helpful information is not courteous. On the contrary, it is quite rude.
