Casement
I see the centenary passed with little in the press or media. Should I be surprised ?

Re: Casement
The majority of Irish weren't really interested in the Easter Rising commemorations.
This was mirrored by the current Fine Gael government.
For example, when it was the Easter weekend people weren't driving around with Tricolour flags on their cars. But when Ireland were playing in the Euro's many were.
The Irish tend to be more patriotic supporting the rugby and football teams rather than Republicanism. Most people have had enough of politics here, and the history that goes with it. When it comes to the Easter Rising, most are apathetic about it.

I did not see a mention in the British press or media either.
