Best way to handle solicitor / conveyance?

Best way to handle solicitor / conveyance?
I'm planning to move from UK to Ireland and I'm assuming that only an Irish solicitor can handle the conveyance, is my assumption correct?
Has anyone got a solicitor to recommend, one that replies to emails in a timely fashion and one not far from Dublin airport?
