an English coal-effect fire in the US
I'm living in the US and I want to purchase one of the Dimplex electric fires with 'opti-mist' smoke effect (only available at home). Will it work in the US? I don't know if I can just convert the outlet and it will work on US power. If not, can change transformer? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

you cannot get the coal effect in the States. Check out the pics on a google search, it is really amazing. I know it's fake, but...

Check the power supply to see if it's duel voltage?
I wouldn't use a transformer on a heating device, would be a massive fire risk even if you got a monster. |
