Mine was an E2 Employee application - the company had already obtained E2 Investor status so the interview process was a lot simpler. Submitted my paperwork at one window, then called to another window for the 'interview' (2 minutes - tops!), then approved.

The company I work for is reasonably big UK company that wholly owns a US subsidiary that employs 6000 staff. A 5 year visa was requested but I don't know if that was granted yet. Once the attorney was handling my application the interview took a couple of weeks to arrange but that was mainly to allow time for the relevant paperwork to be obtained. I am sure it took much longer for the company to reach E2 Investor status.
