la cantar esta muy loca (Visa music!)

Pick me up music for visa blues! Lolsss!

I think this one says it all:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JZp4r_CecP8

Viva la noche! Visa la fiesta! Viva los DJs! Viva la visa!!!! (WTF!!)

All day, all night, all day, all night,
All day, all night, all day, all night,
All day, all night, all day, all night,
All day, all night, all day, all night,

WTF
What the fffffff ...

when I went down to Travisa, and saw all the people in line,
I thought .... wtf!
All day, all night, all day, all night,
All day, all night, all day, all night
Viva la noche! Visa la fiesta! Viva los DJs! Viva la visa!!!! (WTF!!)

So I called my friend Johnny,
'Johnny, la cantar esta muy loca'

Sorry! Was that offensive? I worked in many countries and have to say that visa services suck in each and every one of them. I'm not even being biased. Also, Travisa is an outsourcing agency and their staff are most kind, courteous, and helpful. And yet the process is so painful.

Its painful because 99% of the applicants for visas know the money they extract from you has bugger all to do security, theirs and yours, but is a money grabbing exercise by faceless bureaucrats to pay for the office coffee....!

Totally correct PJ, but did you watch the video?
Some tart bellowing "What the *****" over and over at me at breakfast time was unexpected and unwelcome.

Still. at least it proves Bipat is selective on what she reads/disapproves of!

Or maybe she enjoyed it :D:lol::D

Culture my @rse...............

Of course I am selective about what I enjoy, isn't everyone? Do you approve of all British 'culture' or should I change the word to 'art', 'entertainment' whatever? However I do not as a habit use the words 'tart' and 'arse'. We are all different!!

So again I say it....

Clearly you did not watch the video that was clearly linked to in the original post?

So here it is again

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JZp4r_CecP8

Please take the time to enjoy........

Does anyone click on links or just read the on screen wording?

You are crossing threads yet again, but as you asked, on the culture subject on "your" other thread .................. Andy got it spot on, you may start a thread, but you don't own it.

Your obsession with defending/promoting all things Injun is becoming overwhelming (and not a little censorial on this latest outing?)

J5, I didn't comment on the video, I clicked on the link and didn't think much of it; end of story.

I didn't comment you mentioned my 'name' and crossed threads.

As to the other thread why should I not start a thread about actual Indian achievement? what is your objection? You yourself put on a useful post.
What is this sudden aggression. This is a Goa/Indian discussion Forum.

More Visa Music:

Cobra Starship: Middle Finger ft. Mac Miller
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yDTzz...eature=branded

This thread is meant to be a parody on all the dysfunctional visa systems across the world. Comments on the music are welcome, but really, who cares? :) For me, this is just an outlet for my frustration dealing with red tape all over the world. Makes me glad I rarely leave the US.

Culture? Sheesh! If you have to talk about it, you certainly don't have it!

Finally got my visa to China!!

That made me think about the origin of the term 'red tape'.
Interesting reads here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_tape

http://ask.yahoo.com/20030901.html
(the phrase cutting through the red tape was taken literally)

http://www.etymonline.com/index.php?term=red+tape
this one attributes the term to the British and the Americans.

And many more sources @google

Renewing the insurance on my scooter license was an experience in the inefficiency of archaic systems. We walk into a small office with about 6 counters. It's like a game. You have to visit each counter (and win) to go to the next level. At some point, you might meet an obstacle that requires you to go to the hallowed office (of the manager).

The dumbest point in the whole experience was that all the gory details on the form had to be entered (data entry) into the system while everyone waited in line for the chore to be complete. Cave men could design better systems.

How should this be done? It's not rocket science!

1 - Make an appointment online. This limits the number of people who walk in and waste their time. Improves national productivity.
2 - Have a checklist online listing all the documents needed for the service requested. When application is accepted indicate fee and payment options (cash, MO, CC etc.)
3 - Limited number of people show up next day, documents are checked up front and applicants are sent to counters for service.
4 - Documents are accepted and applicants are informed about when they should expect to pick up.
5 - Update status of application online.
6 - SMS applicant on successful completion of service or issue with application request

Ending up ill in Goa does worry me. The prospect of having to go to the GMC in Bambolim absolutely terrifies me - you only have to read the the Herald or the Navhindtimes Times to know why.
