Is it difficult to get a VISA to live and work in the USA?
For someone who lives in England & Has a Degree in Hospitality Management.
Would it be near impossible/difficult to get a job in America? Oh and I don't mean right now in this economy, I mean in general, like in a few years? |

yes...bloody...and that was when the good times were good...best bet would be a company transfer, but would anyone really do that? Probably slim chances unless you had niche skills or were very senior.

Why not get a job at EuroDisney and then transfer over after a few years when the economy has improved... they're always looking for people in the hospitality industry.

OP: The fact that a couple of replies were deleted for being out of order might give you a clue. Lots of people turn up here with no chance of legally immigrating to the US and, occasionally, people get a bit tired of seeing the same thing over and over again.
It doesn't make them bad people, it doesn't make you bad people. It's just that the USA doesn't want you (or me, for that matter - though I didn't want the US until my wife told me I did, at which point things changed) As others have said, it's bloody hard. You should take Meauxna's advice and read the article she's linked to. Once you've read that, please come back with questions and we'll be happy to help. |
