Anyone interested in another North East meet up?
 

It's a while since we held a meet up here.

All those who used to go to them have gone to Aus now (except me )

So, not to be feeling left out I thought I'd try and arrange another as there seems to be a few newer members from up here.

Hi there, where abouts are you?

We are in North West (Cumbria) but there doesnt seem to be that many people around this area to arrange a meet up!

How far along the long process are you? Where are you heading?

We are waiting for a CO and hopefully going to Perth.

I'm in Teesside. I'm waaaay down the line. I've had my PR visa since May 2004 but for various reasons haven't managed to get out there yet!

I have my flights booked now for 31st August. I'm heading to Brisbane at last :lol:

Iam :D At least I've got plenty of time to sort stuff out.

Sorry, I dont really knmow anything about COs and stuff. An agent dealt with all of our stuff. I just sent him what he asked for and paid me money. Was worth every penny :thumbup:

I'm in the north-east right now. It's cold, wet and miserable :( However, we're flying out on Sunday and can't bloody wait. We've still got a ton of people to visit first too. Some holiday :rolleyes:

We would be interested in a meet but there doesn't seem to be anyone from around our area, we live in North Shields (20 mins east of Newcastle). We were granted our visas on 22nd Jan :D and not quite sure when we're going or even where (possibly Perth or Sydney) depends on hubbies job etc.

Congratulations :)

There usually tends to be more people from up your way than down here that post on this forum.As a result, we tend to organise them a bit further North and I travel up if i'm not working (which I always tend to be when anyone else organises them it'sa good job I'm not paranoid, lol)

I'm waiting to see if we get a bit of interest before looking at dates.
