How long is the IELTS valid and what is the pass rate?

Hi

Was just thinking that if an Accountant or nurse would need this test then how long is this valid for? Also how much do you need to pass? Etc...

Hi, some occupations require you to take the IELTS test as a part of the skills assessment (check with your assessing body).

If you need the points (beacuse you automatically get 15 points for English as a UK passport holder - assuming that's where you're from!) you can get an extra 10 points (25 points total for English) if you take the IELTS and get 7.0 or above for every part or the test - listening, reading, writing and speaking.

Good luck.
