suitable UK passport photos in US

ok, i know how to renew a UK passport in the usa but im just wondering about where/how to get the photo taken here in the states as the stipulations of the UK and USA PP photo requirements are slightly different, anybody already renewed theirs, how did you get the photo?

thanks.

walgreens...tell them it's for a UK passport and their machine can be "programmed" to the correct size etc. before printing
Make sure you read the guidelines for photos..things have changed recently...no smiling or "teeth" allowed.:)

awesome, thats just the nice simple answer i was looking for!! I generally do the 'mugshot' for pp photos as that seems to be what they are looking for :)

thanks lisa67

Or, take them yourself and just have them printed by snapfish, walgreens, etc

http://www.epassportphoto.com/

Did this for our 6-month year old when applying for her Brit passport.

Much easier and much cheaper :)

Bugman,

I renewed my UK Passport not long ago and they are very strict of the photo now, no hair on the face, ears must be showing (took me 3 attempts as I didnt read that long hair must be behind the ears!) etc, etc it may be worth a look on the UK Passport site before you get them done just to be sure.
