I guess such behaviousr might be a reason to use the MiFi route and various SIMS - but I guess PAYG will invariably end up being more expensive.

a friend recently 'dumped' Vodafone for doing exactly this... and they never admitted it. They just made up excuses, like 'Oh, there must be many people on at same time' and the like, but it happened at roughly the same time every month. Doesn't take a Sherlock, does it?
