maclaim: worm update: Day 8...on day 6 I added coffee grounds and banana peelings under wet cardboard....check daily still no worms. (like a textbook Okie madwoman in her PJs 'n slippers running out 1st thing in the morning to see if Santie left me some worms)...but no not yet.
Set up 2nd wet cardboard experiment on pure disturbed dirt, 4th day....no worms yet....thought I might add soft music as one does with laying hens...or? A glass of Gin?

I refer you to the earlier post on hunting (ok,ok, it started out as Fish....) Maybe your local hunting fraternity has moved on to something else, now they've wiped out all the mammals

Do you have any humus in you soil at all???? Maybe an airlift of wigglies will be necessary

No this is not the moist hubris of Oregon's Douglas fir forests that I'm familiar with....but rather a dry red Australian outback kinda stuff...Yes macliam I concede ...I just may have to break down and jump-start the process and go buy the 'breeder' babes. Either that or someone's gonna instagram me back to my friends n family toddling around in the ohdarkthirthy hours of the morning, with headlamp, in my flannels, rastafarian hair, making primordial grunting sounds when I bend over to lift wood and cardboard look for worms....God give me strength... Just remember that it's YOU God, who made me in your image!
