Default Wood colour paint

Hi I want to paint some treated wood outside and change from its natural colour to coloured. In the UK I would have probably used Cuprinol or similar, does anyone have a make here which will do the same, or has anyone colour stained outside wood without problems. Many thanks

The main brand here is Bondex (same idea as Curprinol) and is sold in all hardware shops
