Hiya, is a tumble dryer necessary in Algarve. Also other white goods, are they expensive to buy there?

A tumble drier is always useful for rainy day emergencies but they're not particularly a necessity but either way, we found the best prices for our kitchen electrical goods here: KuantoKusta - Comparador de preços e guia de compras online

We bought fridge/freezer, electric hob, electric oven, washing machine, dishwasher and double sink and saved €1400 compared to the cheapest high street dealer for exactly the same items.

Oh and we also got COD and free delivery.

Necessary - no. Recommended - yes. Winters can be damp and then it's difficult to get stuff dry without one, unless you use a local laundry service for your washing / ironing.

We bought a good washer/dryer here for about the same (-ish) as the UK but with free delivery, installation, removal of old one and 2-years warranty.
