Hi everyone,

Wonder if anyone can advise us? My wife and I are considering moving to the Algarve later this year, so far so good, but.....it seems like we've scoured the entire WWW looking for an agent specialising in long term residential lets, do you think we can find any??? no. It all seems to be holiday lets, surely there's someone??
Can anyone please help? I'm pulling my hair out and at my age I need to look after what's left

We have family in portugal I shall ask them to find a web for you, Im guessing that a portugese newspaper will have better lets, as we have seen them? how is your understanding of poutugese?

Thanks everyone,

My understanding of Portuguese will take a while I'm learning but haven't got passed the greetings, asking how people are and ordering food and drink

I have subscribed to Algarve 123 since putting up my thread and it is more useful, also we view the Portuguese news online too which has many classifieds, bit disappointed with the Algarve Resident online version, can't seem to access the adverts even though we've registered. Still not finding actual agents with properties to view on their websites though which is making life a tad difficult as we don't have the luxury of taking a month off to be there 'on the ground' looking.

If anyone does manage to source any agents (preferably with websites) we are primarily looking at the central Algarve region, from roughly Guia in the east to Alvor in the West and up to Silves in land - an elongated square if you like. A fair size area and we're not nessecarily looking to move to the coast.
