Shed building costs
The "shed", which had been extended randomly, has finally given up with the roof falling in and a couple of walls falling over.
I'm looking for an approximate costing for a 10m x 4m block built and rendered agricultural shed with screeded concrete floor, concrete beamed roof (for later addition of solar water) to be built on a cleared site, any ideas?

Re: Shed building costs
You need to ask a few builders for quotes; I know some good guys based in Aljezur

Yes please. We don't need a formal quote just an estimated cost to work out where best to spend our limited funds. It's near Pombal quite far from Tavira.

Re: Shed building costs
The blocks and concrete are easy to calculate, just ask your local builders merchants for local prices. All of the above factors will vary the cost so it's impossible to even guess final cost without more info other than to say it's between 3500 and 20,000 depending on spec.

Re: Shed building costs
It's a shed to replace a shed which has collapsed due to wood worm in the roof beams and of the same dimensions so no permission needed. two spaces for doorways, no windows, no power, no water, no drainage rendered block walls internal and external finish. No wood anywhere, Roof of concrete beams using the old tiles
Door(s), windows, power, drainage, water supply, roof type, internal finish, external finish, insulation, prefix for solar etc

Re: Shed building costs
Does anyone know what's the maximum area of a shed type structure you can construct without needing planning permission? I've 4m x 4m structure in mind. If anyone has experience in building a conical/circular type roof, I'd love to hear from you.
