Re: Seville parking
IKEA, most big out of town stores on the industrial estates and elsewhere all free but not close to centre of town. If just for a day visit its best to bite the bullet and pay to go to an underground car park, especially this weather in full sun. For longer stays there is usually a combined hotel + parking deal. Airport parking also quite low cost. If you have a car you value it's best not to take the chance parking long term in a residential area. Free city centre parking and Spain are not often used in the same sentence.

Re: Seville parking
As I thought thanks. There's four of us for 2 nights so driving is cheaper than bus. I have read before about people parking at Ikea and taking the bus, I might consider that or a closer store.
The charges in city parking also vary a lot it would be my luck to get most expensive one

I always choose a hotel with car parking facilities. Why choose inconvenience over comfort?

I'm not too keen to drive in Seville , hotels say they have parking and then send you off round a one way system to a public car park underground that charges a fortune
