Hi,

can anyone recommend a good, English speaking, solicitor to help me purchase a home in portugal on the silver coast.
I have a property in mind, and have spoken to the owner directly, so there is no estate agent.
If anyone has any recommendations... or advice regarding the cutting out of an estate agent from the deal... I would very much appreciate it.

We bought an apartment last year in Foz do Arelho. Our estate agents recommended a lawyer called Dr Felipe Estevao Ferreira, based in Caldas da Rainha. We found him very helpful and thorough, he speaks English and to be honest, couldn't fault him. The whole experience was made very easy but its only one recommendation to go on!
