Hi,
We are registered (after more than 2 hours waiting) at the local centro de saude in Portimao (numero utente).
We now would like to have a EHIC, but at the centro de saude they told us to to to ......... SNS (?).

Can we make an appointment online?

I presume by SNS (which is actually the acronym for the PT Health Service - Serviço Nacional de Saúde), you mean Social Security?

If so, there is a facility to make an appointment online but it looks as though it only applies if you're already registered with them and have a login for online access.

You might be able to make an appointment via telephone, though.
