recycling old tyres- Tavira area
I have about 100 old tyres on a small plot of land near Tavira. they are 95 % car tyres with a few tractor size tyres...... anyone know how to get rid of them to a recycling company.....I've been told that Tavira Verde will take them IF I PAY??? Crazy.

Tyres are a liability and a hazard, not an asset. If you can deliver them to someone who will take them off your hands for free consider yourself lucky. If you want someone to collect them I will be astounded if you don't have to pay to get them taken away.

We pay roughly a pound per tyre for disposal in work (still in UK) that is why you get a disposal charge on your invoice when you have a new tyre fitted.
