Default Private uk pension problem

Hi I am non uk resident and am trying to claim my full private pension pot from an English insurance company, I need to get a registered uk independent financial adviser to sign an advice declaration, but as a non resident of the uk I am have no luck with this. Either here or in the UK.
Has anyone here had this problem and if so how did you manage to resolve it

You might try Blevins Franks , they are UK registered but be prepared for a lot of hard sell on their products

Just as an aside to this question, would NHR make you exempt from UK income tax if you take the whole pot and not just the 25% tax free as in the UK. Must admit looking to take one of my private pensions and this is something I hadn't even thought of.

My understanding is that this is indeed the case and it is something I am actively looking to do on my 55th birthday. Another option would be to put the 75 percent in an income draw down pension and draw the money as and when required and again this would be treated as tax-free as it is unearned income.

I would be interested in hearing from anyone who has successfully done either of these things.
