Re: Outdoor paint
I wondered whether dulux and sandtex would do the job especially with the heat.

Re: Outdoor paint
Apparently it's the UV not the heat that's the problem........ However, the anti fungal bathroom (internal) paint is well worth bringing over.

Re: Outdoor paint
both are excellent quality paints and work well here
there is an English paint business that sell both brands here for many many years - somewhere near Lagos
btw paint is a restricted item - i believe its banned from the tunnel - not sure about the ferries
sorry its paint thinners meths etc are banned - the ferries allow unlimited water based and 10l of flammable paint
eurostar is deleberately vague - how on earth can you publish a prohibited items list and say
'Remember, this list doesn’t cover absolutely everything, but it’s a good guide to what you can and can’t take with you'

Re: Outdoor paint
mad country - the Tunnels latest ban is kitchen utensils
not just knives - but all kitchen utensils - things they dont ban include baseball bats sledgehammers iron crowbars - but they do ban plastic spatchulars and tin openers
the tunnel and all of the airports ban cheese - apparently its the most confiscated item from French airports - but the lethal weapon of cheese is still welcome on the Ferries
back to topic - Luxens paint- from the very large Leroy merlin at guia
still looks perfect 3 years later
