Well here we are, 2 weeks ago we were in cold Scotland and I was thanking you for all the info you had gave me, now we are in a warmer place. Who said things do not move fast here, it has been a big benefit coming out beforehand to meet lawyers, getting fiscal numbers and getting a bank account set up. Joined Benamor golf course on the day we arrived, bought a car (scary prices ) 2 days later after a long day looking, got another bank account set up ( Millennium bank staff in Tavira have been excellent ) saw a wonderful 4 month old 2 bedroom apt. overlooking the Rio Formosa to the Atlantic with everything we wanted, 10 min stroll from Tavira centre, railway station and of course Lidil supermarket. Saw apt. on Thursday signed promissory contracts Friday and move in on the 16th April. Staying in a relatives villa in Moncarapacho until we move, its ok but you have to take the car out for everything. Well thats enough drivel at the moment so I will sign off.

Perhaps you could let us know if there are any open mixed at Benamor so we can try to be there. There is just one worrying thing and that is there is another lidle fan like my husband.
