Hi, we are in the middle of purchasing a place in E Algarve. Can anyone advise on what monthly and annual costs or charges there are, (council tax average use electric, tv licencing etc) as we will be on a limited budget. Thanks in advance.

The East Algarve is a big place - where will you be moving to? What size property? How many of you? Will it be town water?

The tv licence is included in the electricity bills.

Hi, thanks for the response. We are buying near Faz Fato, it will just be the two of us. There is a borehole for water. The property has three bedrooms.

Hi Llamedos, we are very close to Faz Fato and happy to meet up when you're over to share our thoughts. Costs all depend on things such as garden irrigation, pool, borehole,AC etc. Council tax is low compared to UK but electricity very expensive. PM me when you've got enough posts.
