Can someone suggest the best way to remove old layers of paint from some metal garden chairs, the equivalent of nitromors if there is anything would be great thanks

Don't know how bad they are but do they really need stripping? I had some 2 years back and rubbed down with grit paper, took a while, then resprayed with 2 coats of paint from Casa Ambrica @ €3 a can. 4 cans needed. They've done 2 winters outside and still as good as new. If you really want to strip them there's an blacksmith in Cacela who could either strip or gritblast and repaint but have no idea of cost.
