Hi,

Can anyone please let me know if it's best to take the train from Lisbon to Faro, or rent a car and drive? I read that CP is planning on having the fast IC line ready for Euro2004, and apparently you don't have to cross the river in Lisbon either.

Actually I'm heading there for a Euro2004 quarterfinal game in June, but am having difficulty finding accommodations in Faro itself. The venue is some where close to Loule, between Loule and Faro.

So, if I can't stay in Faro, and would have to pick somewhere else close to the area, where would you recommend? In that case, again, what's the preferred way of getting there from Lisbon?
