Default Help with PT translation needed.

The hospital in Porto said they would contact my wife by phone as per the date of her appointment and she got this SMS today but Google cannot translate it properly.
Can someone please help and does it need to be replied to?

IPO-PORTO
(Wife's name), tem marcaçao em Cons.
Enferm.-C. Cabeca e
Pescoco (A.ORL), dia 22/03/2017 as 10.30

Then another one arived a few seconds later.

IPO-PORTO

The word in bold means +/- "marking" which in this case = appointment
As to Cons this indicates the area off the hospital where she should attend , + the same for ORL-Geral
No reply needed as far as I'm aware
The rest off the SMS is the Time's & Date's off appointments

Hope your good lady is improving

When I'm faced with abbreviations like this I've found that Googling (ie searching the web, rather than trying to translate) the abbreviations exactly as written usually helps. In this case I was led to Otorhinolaryngology Service | IPO-PORTO and since the two appointments are 10 minutes apart you'd think the locations must be very close. Hope this helps.

Sorry, missed this until now - but Ingles gave you the right translation and Richard decoded the abbreviations.

The Google attempt just shows why you can't trust it......

To be fair it did seem to get that ORL = ENT, though that might have been missed amongst the shoal of red herrings.

I hope it's well signposted. You don't want to have to get your tongue round "Onde fica o Serviço do Otorrinolaringologia, por favor?"

Hope it´s nothing serious;

Just be there a little before 10:30 tomorrow, and you may show the paper to any person working there and ask "onde?" or "onde é" or "onde fica?";

I actually live close to the IPO;

Good luck
