Help
The insurance on my portuguese house is soon to expire (arranged by my portuguese bank.) I have rung the bank but all I get is a portuguese recorded voice. Without going over, does anyone have any idea of how to renew this? Would it be cheeky to contact the estate agents who sold me the property?

Do you have online access to your bank account? If so, there's probably a messaging service you could try or other contact details provided. You may also be able to tell if you have a direct debit in place for this which might imply auto-renewal.

Insurance from a bank etc is going to be expensive & better to find a local insurance agent where both price & service will be miles better.
