Free tv
Hi, just about to complete on purchase of holiday home on golf resort near Lagos (Boavista) . The resort has cable feed to all properties and no external dishes are allowed for tv. Owners I'm guessing pay Boavista to watch sky tv etc
We are popping over next month for a week and the first thing our teenage son worries about is watching tv
We purchased the property including the current televisions, but is there any way of watching tv for free without paying resort link up fees as don't intend to use property again until January onwards.
The current owners have a MEO router and landline, which they are leaving for us too, but appears the MEO website is in Portuguese only. So not sure how to go about arranging Wi-Fi for the property whilst still in UK...any suggestions appreciated?
We don't need to use a landline phone so looking for Wi-Fi and tv packages for non permanent use if possible.

Re: Free tv
Yes there is a way.
Assuming you can get an unlimited & half decent ADSL or fibre optic connection you can install kodi & mobdro onto any android device and use wifi or wifi & chromcast to get it onto your TV.
If you don't know about kodi & mobdro, the former gives you endless on demand viewing including latest movies & the latter gives you endless scheduled viewing including all Sky etc & all for free & legal to watch.
Meo do now offer a variety of packages without contract that you can turn on & off by the month as you require.
I have no commercial link to the company other than being a satisfied customer but take a look at feliztech.com where you'll find simple explanations of a complicated subject.

Another good App for an android box is UKTVNOW.
Has every channel you will need and easier to navigate than Mobdro
